Portal Overlook Cabin #14

1 Beds 1 Bathrooms 6 Sleeps Moab, UT
After a long day hiking to Portal Overlook or exploring the dramatic views along the Colorado River, you do not want to squeeze back into a noisy hotel room on the highway. This place was ok, it’s away from the noise of downtown but feels like a trailer park. The air conditioning is a wall unit that is only in the living room so the room gets very warm which they provide a large fan but there should just be a wall unit in the bedroom. This can room 5 people, they will charge you $50 for not putting away the dishes or the trash, bed was comfortable, easy check in

We were only there for one night because we were on our way home and didn’t have time to stop for a longer stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We slept in the main bedroom so I can’t speak to how comfortable the bed in the loft was. We plan on returning next year and hope to stay here for several days on that visit.

This tiny house was in a quiet area and perfect for winding down after a long day outside. We felt the home was better than we were expecting. We will plan to stay again on our next trip to Moab.

Very comfortable with good furnishings and a comfortable bed. The loft was cute, would be great for kids but the ceiling was too low for adults. Kitchen had everything we needed with a full refrigerator. A nice perk for us was ice trays in the freezer so we could pack our lunch and keep it cold. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path but close to restaurants, shopping, etc.
